16 agosto, 2015 · Injerto capilar

Androgenetic alopecia is the most common form of hair loss among the male population. At the Beyou Medical Group, we have been carrying out since 2005 thousands of hair transplants so as to so as to eradicate this predicament for good.

Since 2005 the techniques have evolved and our treatment centres have jumped on board this innovatory bandwagon, and therefore are well known for using the latest treatments and developments. Due to hiring well reputed professionals in the hair transplant industry, our centres are positioned as the most pioneering clinics in Andalucia, alongside gaining an excellent reputation nationally. Today we have three clinics, located in the Spanish towns of Granada, Murcia and Malaga. The centres, staffed by an international team, have carried out more than 6000 hair transplant procedures.

Currently the procedures offering the best results are the most innovative ones. The two most innovative procedures being the FUE and the FUSS technique. However these are not exclusive and good results can also be attained from undergoing intensive ‘megasesiones’ using the strip/graft and the combined technique. All treatments can be adapted to individual patient needs and some other hair transplant therapy on offer include; eyebrow, scar and skin graft treatments.

The FUE hair capillary transplant technique entails individual hair follicle extraction and is particularly recommended for the treatment of minor cases of alopecia. The benefits of this technique being that it leaves no scarring and the patient can disguise the process by wearing his or her hair very short. The transplant procedure is carried out using a Punch device, i.e. A micro titanium cylindrical scalpel, and via a manual or a FUE motor extraction method. The FUE motor method is used when the session require heavy follicle extraction, e.g. over a 2 to 3 day session, as the motor has the capacity to extract up to 1200 hair follicles (UFs) per day .

In comparison the FUSS technique also known as the strip/graft method, is particularly effective for severe cases of hair loss. The FUSS method is carried out by extracting a strip/graft of hair from the back of the patient’s head for replantation in the affected areas. The team specialises in the trichophytic closure method, which involves special stitches allowing the patient to wear their hair short to disguise the procedure. The team are experts in carrying out intensive ‘megasesiones’ of the FUSS technique and can extract in one day up to 3000 hair follicle grafts.

These treatments stand out from other methods as they present a natural, fast, effective, safe, permanent and relatively non-invasive solution to combat alopecia.

The secret to the success of these type of treatments is via using the latest hair transplant technology techniques, combined with hiring well reputed professionals to carry them out. Our Malaga, Granada, Almeria and Murcia clinics boast first class hair transplant professionals, with a plethora of experience, who belong to a wide range of globally recognised hair transplant associations. For example these associations include The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, I.S.H.R.S.
